  My Work

We create our own inner states in response to external events that touch or otherwise affect our lives - states such as phobias, anxiety, inertia and so on. This may sound a little blunt but it is true, even when we’re not directly responsible for those external events. The good news is that, because it is our reaction to what occurs, we can change how we react to those events, even when they happened a long time ago.

Any form of ‘Psychotherapy’ involves verbal interaction between a trained therapist and his or her client. It is essentially a highly confidential, complex, emotionally secure relationship between therapist and client that takes into account many aspects such as health, family history, thoughts, symptoms, beliefs, values and so on.

Cognitive-Behavioural Hypnotherapy is a natural, creative state to which I guide you that removes all distractions from your mind while we focus on your desired outcomes. In this way we find effective solutions that enable you regain control over your own responses.

NLP tells us that, because we think mainly in sequences of pictures and words, when we make changes to these we can gain control over how we feel and behave in many situations. It can be very simple.

Stress is all too frequently at the heart of so many of our problems. It can be part of the cause of the problem. It is frequently one of the results of our problem.

Often there is little we can do about the things that cause us stress. And this can lead to anxiety, depression and a general deterioration in our well-being. And even when we can do something about these causes of stress, we still have to deal with them until we can make the necessary changes in our life. In considering the issues brought to me by my clients, I draw upon a wide range of techniques and concepts to find which approaches will be the most effective.

I also introduce my clients to the HeartMath Programme. By using these techniques you can easily learn how to avoid the effects of stress, and eventually how to avoid most stress.

I have had considerable success working with people who have been experiencing:
